Long Island GLBT Community Center, the first gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender (GLBT) center on Long Island owned and operated by a gay organization offers a safe space for GLBT youth, young adults, and their family & friends to meet and interact within the full range of programs and events that The Center offers. In addition, the new 4,300 sq. ft. facility also serves as a Drop-In Center, meeting rooms for community groups, a home for the the Gay and Lesbian Switchboard of Long Island (GLSB-LI), and the Suffolk Project for AIDS Resource Coordination (SPARC), as well as housing LI GLBT Services Network administrative offices.
Our large Multi-Purpose Room is used for our Safe Choices / Club LIGALY program, and other events, meetings, and gatherings. This room can accommodate up to 100 people.
A spacious conference room can hold meetings and educational trainings for up to 35 people.

A safe space for GLBT youth to come together, socialize, and be themselves without the fear of harassment. The drop-in center is equipped with a big screen television, music, games, and an extensive book and video library.

Various meeting space options are available for the Long Island gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (GLBT) community organizations at a nominal fee. We offer the choice of a large Multi-Purpose Room, a Conference Room, and a Lounge. Audio/video options are available.
