Long Island Trans Experience (LITE) provides social support services to transgender youth, adults and seniors as well as their families, friends, and loved ones. LITE’s mission is to advance the harmony and support of one another without displaying prejudice. LITE endeavors to create an energetic, diverse, and understanding community where individuals are free to express and develop their personal growth while respecting the needs of others. Through the promotion of common-interest forums and other resources we agree to empower with knowledge both ourselves and those we affect. LITE strives to remove the barriers toward these goals and promote the education of all people and governing bodies which affect us.
