Aleph 2.0 connects GLBT Jewish young adults in their 20’s and 30’s with each other and with Jewish life and experience, while working in partnership with synagogues and Jewish community centers to create positive, inclusive activities for GLBT Jews. May 19-21 2013: Keshet Training Institute for LGBT Inclusion.
This training intensive is designed for Jewish professionals and lay leaders seeking to improve their organization's capacity to create inclusive Jewish communities. Training includes: 1) understanding definitions and terms; 2) community organizing skills-building; 3) adapting inclusive Jewish values in existing curriculum; 4) action planning; and 5) setting reasonable goals for change. Aleph 2.0 celebrates Jewish holidays with the support of LIGALY and The Network. Chanukkah and Purim parties, the annual GLBT community Passover seder, and other celebrations bring together GLBT Jews of all ages, along with their friends.
